Okay, things are back to a bit more normal, blog wise. Obviously, you wish you were me for the last ten days.

Even with ocean.

That said, all the news that is in Australia right now relates to the flooding taking place in Queensland, which are now being compared to the floods in 1974. I suspect that, when it is over and done with, a lot of people will be in need of help as, after the floods, the loss of crops and income, in addition with the disease and issues will kick in from all that stagnant water make matters worse. That doesn't even begin to take into account the loss of property, life, and more. Right now, I am listening to a mayor of a town in Queensland talking about how small towns are isolated and that around seventy two people are missing (only eight people have died so far, but I don't think anyone believes the number will stay at that).

When I flipped on the news today, I saw photos of cars tossed up on each other, the ground ripped away, and streets in inches of still, stagnant water.
