How to be a Man

At four in the morning on Sunday, I woke up to the sound of a tap dripping. I got up to turn it off, but found instead that the tap spun endlessly, and the water flowed just as well. Swearing at it, I headed out and turned the main off, and later during the day, attempted to fix it.

On Monday, a plumber arrived. Twenty minutes and one hundred and fifty dollars later, he left, and I had a working shower and running water.

Some days, even I question my masculinity.
