Here's a bit of music for today. It's from a local band that's been getting a lot of press, Cloud Control.
I like this song, but I'm not yet convinced by the band as a whole. This film clip doesn't really help, since it becomes increasingly lame as it goes on, but music clips are sometimes like that. The lead singer reminds me of someone, though, and so does the whole band, but I can't quite figure it out.

As for the lead vocalist, the thing which comes to my mind is Arcade Fire.
And I'm not one of those Arcade Fire flag carriers, so that's not meant as praise or criticism, it just is.
the whole album is a bit of that dislike and like aspect, i've found. some of it i really like, some of it not at all.
