The amazon listing for the book has been changed, so no longer do people have to keep saying to me, "The cover is different."
Yesterday a bunch of people bought the book and, at one stage, it had a ranking of on amazon of 23, 300. Chasing your ranking there is a kind of insanity, but I figure it means maybe half a dozen copies got sold, or some such thing. There were a couple of posts by nice people who pimped the book out, and I'm grateful for that. When I am ruler of the world, you may consider yourself safe for the first year of my bloody dictatorship.
Also, in case you're wondering what kind of book Black Sheep is, Deb Layne (deborahlive) read it last year while I was writing 26Lies, and says that, "Although it's an earlier work, in it you get glimpses of what will eventually be the mature Ben voice. It's a haunting meditation on race, identity and nationalism. And it's a love story."
You can buy it from Amazon, and from Galaxy Bookshop in Sydney. Thanks to John Au-Yeung for the link there.
And there we go.
Now I just have to figure out the things that I can do for the book. If you review or want an interview, drop me a note. I'm also especially interested if anyone has connections to college/university newspapers or magazines that review/interview.
