Heteronormativity Gets Addressed

Kirsten (KJ) Bishop is addressing the apparent heteronormativity of The Etched City with a comic (which, if you don't know, is her very popular and well respected novel from a few years ago). Of course, she is doing this by drawing "on poor quality paper with a cheap biro and marker," and later fiddling with in Photoshop.

The result is quite cute and quite funny:

She promises a page a week until she's done.

yep. they're both good. but i like the phallic bit here a lot.
