Can You Say Slashtastic?

Well. This is a first for me. I'm in Jay Lake's (jaylake) dream... and lets just say that, really, as dreams of suggestive homoerotic future slash fantasies go, it's not so bad. It also comes with product placement.

At one point last night I awoke dreaming that benpeek and I were trapped inside Hal Duncan's Vellum. Specifically, Ben and I were digging our way down through a city, trying to find our way out through the bottom, but we kept breaking through to entire new cities. (And yes, that's also an echo of Trial of Flowers...)

To recap:

That's me and Jay in search of new cities.

Hal Duncan has written a novel called Vellum.

Jay Lake has written a novel called Trial of Flowers.

...And Ben Peek appears to be just along for his author photo good looks.

Disclaimer: Ben Peek is also the author of Black Sheep and the people who have bought that have also bought Moon Boots. Jay Lake has also written the novel Rocket Science and a bunch of other things and appears he thanks to MGM. Hal Duncan is busy taking over the world and could not be reached for comment about his role in today's episode. All likeness of real people to real people is incidental and shouldn't be confused with a lie.

The night before last I dreampt I was trying to photograph the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Last night I dreampt I was being chased by aliens who were trying to abduct me. At least I *think* it was a dream...
