Happiness in the City.

Found in George Street, Sydney, advertising some kind of sale, I think.

It's cool, though, isn't it? Goths with humour. I love 'em. He had a friend sitting on a milk grate next to him, who was holding his head in his hand as I took the picture, clearly horrified in a theatrical way, and I wish I'd snagged it all as one. Shame, really. Anyhow, as an aside, that hand puppet reminds me of a kid's show that was on when I was five or so. It was a British show called Sooty and Friends or something quite close to that. Personally, I think there's a market for Goth Operated Hand Puppet Children Shows, but that might just be me.

Sooty - ever so naughty,
Sooty - never gets caught,
He is a little rascal,
In trouble all the while...

That's an awesome picture. It sort of looks like a pooh bear to me.

I would have really liked to see the ashamed goth on the milk crate.

i know. i know. i cropped the image a bit, but original there was a little bit of him in the image. not enough to leave it, however. like a shoulder. but by the time i realised he was doing that, i'd already taken the photo. since i didn't know the guy (or the guy in the photo) i didn't bother them for a second. besides, the puppet was enough.
