Arthur Miller.

I thought Arthur Miller was already dead. You know, I just can't keep up with these American literary icons. Next someone will be telling me Norman Mailer is still important. Though I tell you what, I didn't know that Miller was married to Marilyn Monroe at one stage.

I just trivialised his whole body of work right there, didn't I?

the last thing i saw of mailer's was a retrospective of his body of work. i kind of took it as a sign that he wouldn't be putting out a whole lot more, but you can never be sure.

the last thing I saw was the retrospective too, called "The Time of Our Time" or some-such-I've always wanted to read that one where he puts himself in Jesus's eyes and mind. Heard good things. Heard bad things. I'd like to ch-check it out, to quote the Beastie Boys, :-)

I believe it's called "The Gospel According to the Sun". Not sure how he frames it.

I didn't even see the retrospective.

I'm thinking that if you are looking for someone who can tell you absolutely nothing about what Mailer is doing, you have found that someone in me.

Why you would be looking for that someone, though, is a major question.
