I've been thinking about what kind of flexibility I have with the blog, lately. About the things that I can do with it that I can't do elsewhere. Selling fiction is the serious end of the game, naturally, but that doesn't mean it's the only game to be had. A lot of the other games are shit and you should avoid them, especially the ones asking for cash or not paying you, and experimenting in such a public way can be a bit of a bitch. You're making your mistakes in public and that means everyone notices and judges. Still, it's not like I don't drop all sorts of things here, mostly on a whim, and it would be a lie to say I haven't published some shit in my time. The difference between a regular blog post and Street Conversations is that it will actually have the benefit of some thought.
It won't be very long, and the influence will be easy to spot, but what the fuck. I'm bored and it interests me. That's all the reasoning I need.
