yeah, they're cool. i haven't listened to them for ages, though, but the ipod brings back the goodness.

whatever happened to them, anyhow? all i remember are two albums, plus a live album, and then that was that.

yeah, i have no idea.
but they rock, and thats all that matters.
lol. :)

maybe they got eaten by cannibals while touring. though, you know, i probably would've read about that somewhere.

hey, looks like they're still out there, with a long rumoured next album. apparently the lead singer, beth gibbons, put out a solo album on 2002, and now spends her time writing lyrics for people like joss stone.

just a crime, really.

The Beth Gibbons/Rustin Man cd is pretty cool... less electronic than portishead, more accoustics and strings/brass... but a similar feel...

hmm. sounds okay... wonder if it's still round.

Just checking, when you say "were are we from?" do you mean "where are we now?" or "where were we born?"
Jan. 14th, 2005 05:08 am (UTC)
which ever you associate with more, basically. it's one of the things that interest me--if you look through the results already, you'll be a bit surprised how people have listed.

OK, well I put down the one that means home to me, so that works.
Jan. 14th, 2005 09:20 am (UTC)

it's an interesting question, really. i mean, maybe just to me cause in the middle of writing about home, but it's just interesting to see the answers people get, and how they phrase it.
