Blacktown Centrelink is a depressing, dirty white building. The roads surrounding it have been ripped up by traffic to the point where it feels like you're driving over unpaved ground. I've been down ugly country roads with nothing but empty fields and rusting tractors to show a change in the landscape that are in better condition that this. The buildings around it are, for the most part, armed with faded and broken signs (the Ice Skating sign, barely legible, dangles from the wall) and signs that are relics from the seventies, and which have been broken out to tell people that there is a generic supermarket here, behind the trees and trucks and next to the bowling alley.
Inside Centrelink, the posters show only non-white families. Make of that what you will.
