So, originally, this was meant to be called 'The 2005 Soundtrack Meme'. I got it off John Au-Yeung
, though he didn't mean it as a meme. The idea, basically, was to assemble a soundtrack of your life/the world around you in 2005. Capture the highs, the lows, the catchy little jingles, that sort of stuff. And this is what I did, for about five seconds, and then I got caught up in the way the words of songs fell together, and started adding bits and pieces here and there. Which is kind of what I do, I guess. Anyhow: the end product is that I came up with something that's not me, but which, because of the political nature of the Herd tracks framing it, I'm going to slap a title on and call it some kind of found poem. A found poem made from my ipod.
