Burn through the Wire

Over at Nightshade Books, I've been given a message board. I don't know how much interest it'll have for anyone reading this blog, since you can leave comments to me here, but the board is pretty laid back, and I'm sure there'll be thread drift (as anyone who has been on a board with me before will know). It's a much more casual kind of place to talk about me. Er. Yes. Well, for a bit. Anyhow, drop by.

Also, I'm fixing up something a bit different for here at the end of September. I figured I'd have a bit of a change because I'll be one of the guest bloggers over at Jeff VanderMeer's blog while he travels around Australia and, since that'll have a huge bunch of people in it, I figured I ought to have a theme for my posts while I'm there. For you guys here, I'll just mean a week of something a bit more thought out in the content of the posts--though not too thought out cause that just isn't blogging--but I'll keep the details to myself until then in case it changes. However, to prepare for it, I spent the afternoon driving and walking and photographing.

This is one of my favourites from it.

Should anyone ask, I can now say, "I once smoked an assignment."
