The Map of Toilets (also gay 'beat queen' meeting guide)

Well, this is kind of odd.

Australia has what appears to be a government owned webpage dedicated to mapping out all the public toilets in the country. There's even a My Toilet log in. This might just be the finest use of public servants and tax money that I've ever seen, even if it is kind of useless to a person without web access and in desperate need of the dunny. Still, in those cases, trees, alleys and trucks are fair game. I wonder if they're listed?

Happiness in the City.

Found in George Street, Sydney, advertising some kind of sale, I think.

It's cool, though, isn't it? Goths with humour. I love 'em. He had a friend sitting on a milk grate next to him, who was holding his head in his hand as I took the picture, clearly horrified in a theatrical way, and I wish I'd snagged it all as one. Shame, really. Anyhow, as an aside, that hand puppet reminds me of a kid's show that was on when I was five or so. It was a British show called Sooty and Friends or something quite close to that. Personally, I think there's a market for Goth Operated Hand Puppet Children Shows, but that might just be me.

Sooty - ever so naughty,
Sooty - never gets caught,
He is a little rascal,
In trouble all the while...
