Observation #907

A truly awful odour laced with hint of peanuts will be released after you squash a large black ant with the scratched face of your sportswatch. The odour will linger for hours, following you when you are away from the table, never vanishing, even after you have disposed of the bug and washed the area it died in. Soon, unable to see the little black insect, the smell around you, you will ask yourself, was that really an ant?

Eventually, it will occur to you that you may just have squashed a bug that no one has heard of before, and that it, quite possibly, could have cured cancer.

Coffee and Cigarettes.

jim jarmusch, who has made some of my favourite films, has a new film coming out called coffee and cigarettes. this film, from what i understand, is a collection of short films that jarmusch has been making under the same title for a few years now. i haven't seen any of them, regardless.

if you've never seen a jim jarmusch film, you really should. my favourites are, in no particular order, mystery train, dead man, and ghost dog: the way of the samurai.

not one of them is like the other, which is, in itself, a rare thing.
