Mars Photojournal.

"This image taken by the hazard avoidance camera on the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit shows the rover's rear lander petal and, in the background, the Martian horizon. Spirit took the picture right after successfully landing on the surface of Mars."

doesn't look like much, but it's a planet that's not earth. a fucking planet. even if all it shows are grey images of dirt, it's enough to arouse my curiousity. but mostly, i want the aliens. bring on the aliens!

We watched a broadcast of NOVA last night that covered up until the landing itself. Tuesday night we're expected to see a broadcast full of pictures.

Michael said he was ready to take me to the hospital, ie. he'd know I was really sick, if I didn't get excited about watching something about Mars.

According to everybody at my office but me, you are supposed to be able to put on blue-red glasses, and then see the photo go 3-D.

Color photos are coming!

When do I get my robot pal???

crap. i don't have any 3-d glasses!

i suppose i could go and see spy kids 3-d to get them, couldn't i? but that seems like an elaborate way to get some, when i reckon it might not work...
