"Hubble mosaic image of the Sombrero galaxy obtained October 3, 2003, shows stars in a pancake-shaped disk along with a glowing central bulge of stars. The Hubble team used their advanced camera to take six pictures of the galaxy and then stitched them together to make the final composite image."
