Snake Plissken's Coming Home
Celeryface | 12:47 |

Namco Hometek has announced that it has secured the character rights of Snake Plissken, the hero character from the films Escape from New York and Escape from LA. Character right owners John Carpenter, Debra Hill and Kurt Russell will work along side Namco to produce the games based on Snake. Look for the first game to be ready for the Christmas 2005 season.
"Working with both the original team from Escape and the developers at Namco allows Kurt, Debra and me to reach a whole new generation of Snake fans and still be true to the original movie," said John Carpenter.
"Bringing Snake into the video game world should be a blast," said actor Kurt Russell.
