"...showed us cash machines..." You don't have ATMs?

Good comic. And true. At a place I go to for breakfast sometimes, there's a thing called "The Tremendous Twelve" -- four eggs, four pancakes, and four pieces of meat (bacon or sausage, your choice). And I know people who can eat the whole thing. Scary.

nah, we have ATMS. but my sister was obsessed with them, for some reason. she kept saying, 'have you used one yet?'

we never did figure out why.

the food was crazy there. about half the way into our trip, we started asking for less.

I thought it was awfully strange that you wouldn't have ATMs...

one of the cool things about american atms, however, is that you can get it in two languages. there'sa few here like that, but they're not as common as it is in the states. very cool that.

I often feel the need to ask for less since I feel bad about wasting food, I push myself to eat everything I'm given. Which hasn't been healthy and has taken a lot of self-control to break. The breakfast place I frequent has a nice special. 2 eggs any style, pieces of meat (sausage links, or bacon strips) and 2 pieces of toast (rye, wheat, or white)and coffee for $3.25 or just the eggs and toast for $2.25 with coffee. Whereas if you go to any Denny's you could feed a family of 12 on the Grand Slam special. I can't remember which place it was, I want to say Burger King that has like the 5000 calorie breakfast sandwich. And Americans wonder how we've become the heaviest nation.

Its sickening really.

yeah, it was crazy, really, the amount of food that they gave us. the worse part was that after two weeks of it, when me and cas got back home, regular meals in sydney seemed so... small.
