Cris Jones

For some reason, old friends of mine always end up finding me on myspace.

No one ever comes here to find, even though there's a solid readership here. Various people from my life do read it, but it's done voyeur like, and I hear about it later from others. Anyone who wants to contact me, however, ends up at myspace. Last night, I got a message from Cris Jones, who I last saw in flesh a couple of years ago in Melbourne, and who was (and is) busy making films. His latest piece is below, a music video for Floyd Thursby & The Definite Article, is pretty cool:

Myspace: the way people find you now.

That's a lovely video.

I find my folk are all filtering over on Facebook. It's almost embarassing how it's improved my social life. People I've always wanted to spend more time with are poking me to go for cofee. I love it, though it's odd.

Myspace I avoid like a plague.
