friendster.

so.

due to procrastinating on today's workload, i was convinced by c that i should set up an account at friendster. because, essentially, in my heart, i am the kind of person who jumps at old technology the moment it becomes a way to delay myself from working, i did this. (and i admit to being a bit curious.) a bit of touring around the place revealed that it might actually have a use outside trying to pick up, such as, you know, promoting your work, meeting people with a like minded outlook on things but who you can't due to distance, crossing community and cultural barriers, and all those other fantastic social promises of the net that never actually eventuate for whatever reason.

so: go check it out, get an account, and feel free to add me or feel free to not.

I'm on Friendster, too. How do I find you there? The only Ben Peek I found was some kid from Arlington, Texas.
