in case folks are curious, regular broadcasting will resume now.please excuse the delay, the lack of food and drink, and the unfortunate fact that puns exist in our fine world. if i could commit genocide to any concept, it would be the pun.

trust me, the world would be a better place.

But I Like Puns...
What did puns ever do to you, hm? They're just harmless little phrases, they never did anything wrong... Have you ever heard of a pun robbing a bank? Killing its wife and children? No.

Re: But I Like Puns...
i don't often say this:

but you are wrong. puns are the vilest form of creation ever spawned by a language, and they are responsible for the further decline of arts, advertising, television, movies, and poetry. how can one have respect for the poem when it has been so riddled by nasty pun carrying cowboys coming off the pains with their empty creative skins, their worn out horses and blank pistols. oh, the slow erosion of life! the slow destruction of everything i have held as important and valued!

damn you sir pun!

damn you and all your ill begotten deeds!

I still think you're being to hard on the poor puns. They don't bring down nations or destroy the cosmos...

Puns are Fun!
Hey I like Puns too!
I suppose you're saying you didn't like the 10 puns I sent you that time then eh? SO it's true that they were bad, that no pun in ten did make you laugh huh?

What about that ghandi pun, that was the king of all puns! I worship that pun I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Re: Puns are Fun!
i didn't even read those ten puns.

as far as i am concerned, puns are wrong. witness you sad punning pun pun punt of an attempt for a pun in the heading. it's terrible. as far as i am concerned, both madam g and queen o can design a puntastic website, and hold a punvention, so i can poison you all quietly as you sip on your passion pop.

hrmph.

Puns may not commit murder, or harm the planet, but they do make me feel very ill. And they give me a headache. Although I have noticed some people smile at a pun, I've always felt this to be a nervous reaction. You must admit, the most common reaction to a pun is a groan, as if in pain. That is generally not accepted as a sign of a good thing. Unless, I suppose, you're into S&M. Which I'm not.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Re: *giggle*
why thank you.

however, queen o, just in case it's not clear, i should fess up that that isn't me. it was instead the great caged lady of sheba, whose adorability is much less than mine ;)

however, as madam g and i discussed last night, there is a connection between puns and bondage. the link has been uncovered.

I figured it wasn't you, dear -- she capitalizes. :) Still anyone who hates puns makes me laugh...
